Coronavirus infections in Sicily are increasing every day. In the last 24 hours -according to the bulletin issued by the Ministry of Health- 213. New daily record since the beginning of the pandemic, although obviously it must be considered that the number of processed tampons is on average at least double with respect to to last spring. : today there were 6,579.
Unfortunately, the number of positive victims of Covid-19 does not stop: today there are four more. These are two 89 and 74 year olds from Catania, an 84 year old woman from Palermo and a 72 year old woman from Mazara del Vallo. On the contrary, there are also a good number of cured patients, 108. The current positives thus amount to 3,549, of which 3,144 in home isolation (88% of the total). The remaining 12% are in the hospital: 375 (+7) are hospitalized with symptoms, while 30 are in intensive care (+2). The breakdown by province, however, considers that Catania returns after days as the one that registered the most cases (89). Then there is Palermo (59); Trapani (25); Caltanissetta (13); Messina (11); Syracuse and Ragusa (8).
