There are 85 more cases of coronavirus than yesterday compared to 4,398 swabs processed. According to the latest bulletin issued by the Ministry of Health, there were two deaths on the island in the last 24 hours (319 in total). Yesterday the new cases of Coronavirus with respect to the previous days had been 182 but with more than 6,500 swabs made. There are 24 people in intensive care (yesterday there were 20).
The victims are a 95-year-old woman from Trapani and an 80-year-old woman from Catania. Regarding the distribution province by province: 33 are the new positives in Palermo, 3 in Agrigento, 3 in Caltanissetta, 32 in Catania, one in Enna, 6 in Ragusa, 3 in Syracuse and one in Trapani.
The number of subjects in home isolation went from 2,829 to 2,894 (+65) and the number of patients recovered and discharged from 4,108 to 4,115. In Sicily, since the beginning of the pandemic, the total number of Covid cases now stands at 7,681.
