808 new cases of coronavirus have been registered in Sicily in the last 24 hours, out of a total of 7,094 swabs made (11.3%). The dead are 21, bringing the total to 1,967. This is what emerges from the bulletin of the Ministry of Health.
With today’s cases, the current positives rise to 35,719: -42 compared to yesterday. The number of hospitalized patients also fell, 15 fewer, for a total of 1,424: 1,226 of them in ordinary regimen and 198 in intensive care. 829 were cured. In terms of distribution between provinces, Catania continues to lead in the number of new cases with 328 followed by Palermo with 151 and Messina with 83, Agrigento 74, Siracusa 52, Ragusa 35, Caltanissetta 33, Trapani 25, Enna 13.
Meanwhile, the State-Regions conference will meet on Tuesday to assess any changes to the Christmas Dpcm. Exceptions are only possible for travel between small municipalities with fewer than 5,000 inhabitants and a few kilometers apart, but it is difficult to authorize mobility between one city and another.
