There are 77 new positives in Sicily in the last 24 hours, seven less than yesterday. The total number of positives in Sicily since the beginning of the pandemic is 4926. No migrants are reported.
There are currently 105 people hospitalized (+1) but intensive care patients increase by two units (15, +2 compared to yesterday), 1,407 in home isolation for a total of 1,527 positives. The cured are 3110, 4 more than yesterday. Deaths remain unchanged: 289.
Of the new cases, 14 are in the province of Catania, 10 in Trapani, 17 in Palermo, 15 in Messina, 2 in Syracuse, 6 in Ragusa, 4 in Enna, 7 in Agrigento and 2 in Caltanissetta. Have been carried out more than 4700 pads, less than yesterday’s 5,200, but it is still a very high number.
Covid-19 cases in Italy have increased slightly compared to 24 hours ago: 1,434 new positives today, compared to 1,370 yesterday, but also with more swabs: 95,990 versus 92,403 24 hours ago. The total number of cases amounts to 281,583. Deaths are on the rise, 14 today against 10 yesterday, for a total of 35,577. The healed are 471 (yesterday 563), and there are 211,272 in total.
The positives are currently increasing, 945 more (yesterday 796), for a total that amounts to 34,734. And hospitalizations continue to grow: those of the ordinary regime increase by 18 units and reach 1,778, while intensive care units increase by another 7 units, 150 in total. There are 32,806 people in home isolation, 920 more than yesterday.
