The new positives in Sicily are on the rise: 114 cases have been registered in the last 24 hours, 36 more than yesterday. It can be read in the bulletin of the Ministry of Health. There are 10 positive migrants staying on the ship “Allegra” in Palermo.

A total of 88 people are hospitalized, while 12 are in intensive care (+1): therefore, the number of hospitalized patients has reached 100. In contrast, there are a total of 1,243 in home isolation. In total, 4,679 cases have been recorded in Sicily since the start of the pandemic. They go up, fortunately, even the healed: +54 and now there are, in total, 3047. One death, indeed, occurred yesterday, in the Ragusa area, which raises 289 victims.

The largest increase in the province of Palermo with 45 new positives, then 37 in Trapani, 14 in Catania, 11 in Messina, 3 in Enna and two for Caltanissetta and Ragusa each. No new contagion in Agrigento and Syracuse. The new tampon record was also set: 5273.

Slight drop today in the number of new positive cases of coronavirus in Italy: they are 1,695 against 1,733 yesterday, therefore less 38. The total number of cases since the beginning of the epidemic is now 276,338. The number of deaths in the Peninsula increases: they are 16 compared to yesterday (+5), which brings the total to 35,534.

The number of hospitalized patients with symptoms rises to 1,620 (+13 yesterday), while that of those hospitalized in intensive care remains at 121. 29,453 are in home isolation (+1,082 yesterday); the total number of positives is currently 31,194 (+1,015). The total of discharges and recovered is 209,610 (+583). The total number of cases since the beginning of the epidemic in Italy is 276,338.
