There are 33 new cases of coronavirus in Sicily in the last 24 hours: 7 more than yesterday. This is what the newsletter of the Ministry of Health reports. Five are migrants. There is also a new victim, in Syracuse (a man who already had previous pathologies), bringing the total to 287 since the outbreak began.
There are currently 1,152 positives including 71 hospitalized (+1), 10 in intensive care and 1071 in home isolation. for a total of 4350 cases since the start of the epidemic. The healed amount to 2,911 (+5).
The 33 cases are divided as follows: six cases in the province of Catania, two in the province of Messina, eight in the province of Palermo, eight in the province of Trapani, seven in the province of Syracuse (including five migrants) , one in the province of Caltanissetta and one in the province of Agrigento
Coronavirus infections are falling again: in the last 24 hours there have been 978 new cases, 18 less than yesterday. Eight victims, two more than yesterday. The dead have become 35,491.
The highest percentage of new cases (24.7%) was registered today in Lombardy, with 242, ahead of Lazio (125) and Campania (102). Valle d’Aosta is the only region without new cases. The eight victims are distributed between Lombardy (2), Veneto (2), Tuscany, Campania, Puglia and Sicily.
