After the approval of the Chamber of the majority resolution that authorizes the Council of Ministers to launch the Dpcm for the management of the Coronavirus pandemic, the word goes to the Executive. The CDM meeting has started at Palazzo Chigi to extend the Covid state of emergency until January 31, 2021 and approve the new decree with the general rules against contagion.
Mask always in your pocket: when to use it outdoors
To counteract the second wave of infections, the government decree establishes that the mask must always be in the pocket or purse, to always be used “in closed places accessible to the public”, including means of transport. But also in all outdoor places when you are around people who do not live together. The provisions of the anti-contagion protocols for specific economic, productive and social activities and the guidelines for the consumption of food and beverages remain operational.
Who is excluded from the obligation
People who are doing sports, children under six years of age and those with pathologies or disabilities incompatible with the use of the mask and those who interact with them are excluded from the obligations.
Smart work remains simplified
The extension of the state of emergency leaves the simplified smart work procedure active, without an individual agreement to activate the tool. There is still the obligation to comply with the security protocols defined for the reopening of workplaces, restaurants and clubs. There is a limit of 200 people to go to the movies, theater and concerts indoors and a thousand people for those outdoors.
The anti-contagion rules
The anti-contagion regulations in force since the beginning of the pandemic are maintained, as confirmed in Parliament by the Minister of Health Roberto Speranza: physical spacing of at least one meter, prohibition of collections, compliance with hygiene measures, mainly hand washing. Obviously, the obligation to stay home with more than 37.5 fever remains.
