Another leap from the Covid epidemic in Italy. Today there are 5,724 new cases against 5,372 yesterday for a total of 349,494. And another record for swabs, 133,084, about 3,500 more than yesterday. Deaths also increased slightly, 29 today against 28 yesterday, and are 36,140 since the beginning of the epidemic.
Admissions increased: 250 more in ordinary regime (4,336 in total) and 3 more in intensive care (390 in total). This is what emerges from the daily bulletin of the Ministry of Health.
The total of cases is now 349,494, the deaths 36,140. Among the Regions after Lombardy and Campania for the number of new positives found are Veneto with 561, Tuscany with 548, Piedmont with 499. Lazio has 384, Emilia Romagna 383.
To report the reverse of infections in Campania: in 24 hours there are 664 positives (yesterday 769) of 9,031 swabs (yesterday 9,549) and two deaths are recorded. These are the data from today’s bulletin of the Regional Crisis Unit for the implementation of prevention and management measures for the epidemiological emergency of Covid-19.
The total of positives is 17,897 units; the one for swabs is 673,472. 68 recovered in the day. The regional beds report indicates 110 intensive care places available, 63 intensive care beds occupied. There are 820 hospital beds available, while 636 hospital beds are occupied.
