The growth of new coronavirus infections in Calabria slows down: today there are 17 new positives, yesterday there were 27 new cases. This is what emerges from the bulletin issued by the Region.
In Calabria to date 164,464 swabs have been made. The people who tested positive for the Coronavirus are 1,640 (+17 compared to yesterday), the negative ones are 162,824.
Territorially, the positive cases are distributed as follows: Catanzaro: 11 in the pavilion; 23 in home isolation; 186 recovered; 33 deceased. Cosenza: 15 in the room; 1 in intensive care; 62 in home isolation; 453 cured; 34 deceased. Reggio Calabria: 2 in the room; 83 in home isolation; 296 cured; 19 deceased. Crotone: 1 in the room; 20 in home isolation; 116 healed; 6 deceased. Vibo Valentia: 5 in home isolation; 84 recovered; 5 deceased. Another Region or Foreign State: 185 (the total also includes the deceased in the Cosenza intensive care unit who resided outside the region).
The total number of cases in Catanzaro includes subjects from other structures who have been discharged over time. The patients from the “Outside the Region” setting (8) and the migrants (1) were distributed in the wards; In total there are eleven hospitalizations in the Catanzaro hospital, of which five are non-residents. Of the fifteen patients admitted to the Cosenza infectious diseases department, four are “non-residents”. Also in Cosenza, an epidemiological investigation is being carried out for two cases and two are cases of refoulement. In Crotone, two positives are from CARA.
Since the last survey, a total of 2,991 people have registered on the Calabria Region portal to communicate their presence in the regional territory. The count also includes the two patients from Bergamo transferred to Catanzaro, while the numbers of the infection received after the communication of the data to National Civil Protection are not included.
