Today in Friuli Venezia Giulia 572 new infections were detected (6,171 smears made) and 13 deaths from Covid-19. This was announced by the Deputy Governor responsible for Health, Riccardo Riccardi. People tested positive for the virus in the region since the beginning of the pandemic totaled 16,102, of which: 4,778 in Trieste (109 more than yesterday), 6,414 in Udine (234 more than yesterday), 2,977 in Pordenone (122 more than yesterday ) and 1,732 in Gorizia (95 more than yesterday), plus 201 people from outside the region (12 more than yesterday).
The current cases of infection are 8,285. 46 patients are being treated in intensive care and 346 are hospitalized in other wards. The total of deaths amounted to 489, with the following territorial subdivision: 239 in Trieste (3 more than yesterday), 126 in Udine (6 more than yesterday), 111 in Pordenone (4 more than yesterday) and 13 in Gorizia. There are 7,328 totally cured, 120 clinically cured and 7,773 isolated people.
