Covid-19 cases are growing in Italy: 1786 more positives in 24 hours. 1,640 cases had been tracked yesterday, about 140 fewer. But at the same time the amount of tampons also increases: more than 108 thousand, compared to 103,696 yesterday. Twenty three victims, three more than yesterday. The total number of people infected since the beginning of the pandemic, including deaths and cures, stands at 304,323.
According to data released by the Ministry of Health, they are 46,780 the current positive, 666 more than yesterday. Today’s bulletin also confirms the indicator that most worries health authorities: the steady growth of hospitalized patients with symptoms – today they are 2,731127 more than Tuesday – from ICU patients, 246 (+2) and those in home isolation who are now 43,803 (+591). The number of people discharged and healed increased: 1,097 in the last 24 hours, for a total of 221,762.
No Region, today, has zero new positives. The steepest increase is in Veneto, with 248 new infections. In Lazio have been registered 230 almost of Covid, identified thanks to about 10,000 swabs: according to commissioner Alessio D’Amato “the Rt value is equal to 0.85”. It follows, with practically the same number of positives, the Lombardy (229). In Campania 195 new cases, in Emilia Romagna 99. In Sardinia, where a 33-year-old health worker died, there are 66 more cases.
The ordinances are reinforced to try to contain infections: a Genoa Obligation to wear a mask in the historic center, even outdoors, day and night. Same provision issued a Foggia by Mayor Franco Landella.
