New cases of coronavirus are growing in Italy, which today they are close to 1600: in the last 24 hours they have registered 1,597, more than 150 more than yesterday (1,434). This was reported by the bulletin of the Ministry of Health, according to which the total number of infections reaches 283,180. As cases increase, tampons decrease slightly: 94,186, just under two thousand less than yesterday. Decrease in casualties: 10, compared to 14 yesterday, for a total of 35,587 victims since the beginning of the pandemic.
But the indicator that is looked at with the most attention is the situation of hospital admissions on the rise, with 1,836 people (+58) and in particular that of intensive therapy: 164 patients (+14). Leap forward for the currently positive: 35,708, of which 33,708 are in home isolation (+902). Increase the healed and discharged: 613 against 471 yesterday, for a total of 211,885 persons.
Like yesterday, only the Aosta Valley new cases are confirmed at zero: the steepest increase even today is recorded in Lombardy with 245 new positives, continues Campania with 180. Emilia Romagna, Veneto, Lazio, Liguria and Sicily are also more than a hundred daily infections.
For comparison, last Thursday (September 3) there were 1,397 new cases of contagion – two hundred less – and 10 deaths, but with about two thousand fewer tampons (92,790).
