New cases of coronavirus in Sicily remain stable: in the last 24 hours there are 107 more positives (yesterday there were 108) and 6 refer to the guests of the Lampedusa hotspot. The swabs continue to decline, 5330. This is what emerges from the daily bulletin of the Ministry of Health. Two new victims, a 70-year-old accountant from Biancavilla (anticipated by the Giornale di Sicilia on newsstands today) and a 76-year-old woman from Vittoria who died in Catania. The total number of Covid deaths on the island rises to 306.
There are currently 2,520 positives of which 235 are hospitalized, 13 in intensive care and 2,282 in home isolation. For the first time in more than a month, there are fewer patients in the hospital, 4 in total, compared to the day before. Good sign. The number of cured is also increasing, + 36 compared to yesterday.
New cases registered 60 are in the province of Palermo, 24 in Catania, 2 in Messina, 1 in Syracuse, 3 in Enna, 4 in Ragusa, 9 in Agrigento, 2 in Trapani and 2 in Caltanissetta.
The epidemic curve in Italy continues to grow: 1,912 cases today against 1,786 yesterday, against a slight drop in buffers (107,269, 800 less than yesterday). The total number of people infected since the beginning of the pandemic stands at 306,235. The deaths in 24 hours are 20 (yesterday 23), for a total of 35,801.
