The hotel requirement is guaranteed by a team of company operators made up of 6 nurses and 6 social and health workers, present 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and two doctors who must watch over, as provided in the guidelines, medical services in the facility, with daily access, in the morning and in the afternoon. The medical guard of the Viterbo Health Citadel will guarantee night-time emergencies.
The reference social worker of the structure is Marco Coletta, who will accompany the patient throughout the treatment route, interacting with family members, local authorities, the territorial network and the private social sector.
The hotel’s organizational structure will take care of the alignment of the technical and health personnel and the relations with all hospitals, Uscovid teams and general practitioners.
In cases of hospital discharge, the person will enter the facility with the drug therapy supply for the first seven days, directly provided upon discharge from the hospital pharmacy. In the event that a medical prescription is required for the medications, the patient’s general practitioner will be contacted and will only use the dematerialized prescription, providing the electronic prescription number corresponding to the structure that will collect the medication at the pharmacy.
During the stay in the structure, if it is necessary to submit the guest to visits from specialists or blood tests on an urgent and non-transferable basis, they will be carried out by the ASL of Viterbo.
The conclusion of the stay in the assisted hotel will occur with the complete resolution of the symptoms and after the negativity to Covid-19, verified by executing a nasopharyngeal swab. The return home will also be carried out independently or with the support of the social services of the municipality of residence, in the case of people with social fragility.
