Nine deaths in Marche: one in Ascoli (91 years from Acquasanta Terme), one in San Benedetto (77 years old from Ascoli) and a 92 year old woman from San Benedetto in Fermo. All of today’s victims had previous pathologies.

The number of people hospitalized for Covid-19 in Marche is still more than 600. Today in general on the rise (603, +3), after last week there was a decrease of 90 hospitalized in a few days. This is a sign of the long stay of patients in the hospitals but also of new incomes unbalanced by discharges and, unfortunately, by the deaths registered in recent days.

In intensive care: 85, yesterday 87 (-2), peak 94 on November 25.

In semi-intensive care: 140, yesterday 144 (-4), peak 153 on December 2.

Total intensive and semi-intensive: 225, yesterday 231 (-6), peak 240 on November 26.

Not hospitalized in intensive care: 378, yesterday 370 (+8), peak 452 on November 29.

Total hospitalized: 603, yesterday 601 (+2), peak 683 on November 29.

The Health Service of Marche region announced that 2,087 swabs have been tested in the last 24 hours: 1,246 in the new diagnostic pathway (of which 335 in the antigenic pathway screening) and 841 in the cured pathway.

There are 229 positives in the new diagnostic path (38 in the province of Macerata, 76 in the province of Ancona, 83 in the province of Pesaro-Urbino, 4 in the province of Fermo, 20 in the province of Ascoli Piceno and 8 from outside the region).

These cases include symptomatic subjects (31 cases detected), contacts in the domestic environment (55 cases detected), close contacts of positive cases (86 cases detected), contacts in the work environment (12 cases detected), contacts in life / social environments (1 case detected), contacts in the care environment (4 cases detected), contacts with the involvement of students of all educational levels (6 cases detected), screening of care trajectories (5 cases detected) and 2 returns from abroad. For another 27 cases, epidemiological investigations are still underway. In the Antigen Screening Pathway, 335 tests were performed and 10 positive cases were found (to be subjected to the molecular swab).
