The number of Covid infections has decreased in the last 24 hours: there are 1,350 cases compared to 1,587 the day before. There was a sharp decrease in the number of swabs performed: 83,428, about 28,000 less than yesterday. These are the data from the Ministry of Health bulletin. Campania is the only region to exceed 200 new cases (+243), followed by Lazio (+198). Net drop in cases in Lombardy, 90 in one day. Data has not been received for the Abruzzo region.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Health, Roberto Speranza, announces that he has signed “a new ordinance that extends the obligation to carry out molecular or antigen tests to the citizens of Paris and other areas of France with significant circulation of the virus.” The European data, he says, “cannot be underestimated. Italy today is better than other countries, but a lot of caution is still needed not to thwart the sacrifices made so far.”
