TRENTO. A major acceleration of the epidemic in Trentino: a peak of 257 new positives and one death. A figure never before registered in our territory: the highest absolute value was on March 21 with 239 positives (March 24 with 213 and March 20 with 210). There are 3 more people in the hospital. This is the update of the Province and Provincial Agency of health services for today, Tuesday October 27, on the coronavirus front.
Have been analyzed 1346 swabs (all read by the microbiology laboratory of the Santa Chiara hospital in Trento), 257 positive tests and the contagion / swab ratio amounted to 19%. A decisive growth trend compared to yesterday (113 positives and 11.5%) and four times higher than the figures reported over the weekend: the figure was between 5% and 6%. Since tampons communicate regularly, such a high percentage has never been recorded: On April 7, 125 infections were reported during 15.6%.
Among the newly infected, 146 people have symptoms, while 3 cases are related to age group 0-5 years, 15 positives instead between 6–15 years, while 30 infections affect people over 70 years. There’s also 33 new cases among school-age children and youth: The health authorities are in the process of investigation to reconstruct if this implies the quarantine of other classes. The updated figure is 142 classes in isolation, +11 compared to what was communicated yesterday.
Unfortunately, there is another Covid-19 death, a man over 80 years old as a guest of RSA: 21 died in 18 days and 22 in about a month since the resurgence of the coronavirus epidemic began. There are 89 people who resort to the care of the hospital system, while 5 patients are in intensive care.
