In Friuli Venezia Giulia 828 new infections, hospitalizations are decreasing

Today in Friuli Venezia Giulia, 828 new covid infections have been detected, 19 out of 9,433 swabs (equivalent to 8.78%), of which 1,503 from rapid antigenic tests. There are 8 deaths, to which are added another 7 that occurred in the previous days (from 11/13 to 12/22). Admissions in intensive care units drop to 59 (yesterday they were 60) while those of other departments fell to 641 units (yesterday 655). This was announced by the vice-governor of the Fvg with responsibility for Health, Riccardo Riccardi. A total of 50,653 people have tested positive for the virus in the region since the start of the pandemic. The deaths totaled 1,627, with the following territorial subdivision: 445 in Trieste, 738 in Udine, 342 in Pordenone and 102 in Gorizia. The totally cured increased to 34,981, the clinically cured increased to 895, while the number of people in isolation decreased and reached 10,947 (yesterday there were 11,062).

Two dead in South Tyrol, 22 people in intensive care

There are two Covid deaths in South Tyrol in the last 24 hours. The laboratories of the health company carried out 2,358 molecular swabs, finding 220 positive cases, while another 255 positives emerged from the rapid antigen tests (3,061 were performed). There are 190 Covid-19 patients admitted to the normal wards of a hospital, another 136 are hospitalized in affiliated private facilities, and 37 are isolated in the Colle Isarco and Sarnes facilities. There are 22 people in intensive care.

328 new cases and 5 deaths in Sardinia

Infections have increased again in Sardinia, where in the last 24 hours of 4,551 swabs made, 328 people tested positive for Covid (30,745 the total number since the beginning of the emergency). There are also 5 deaths (743 in total), three women and two men between 69 and 98 years old. The victims: three residents of the metropolitan city of Cagliari and two, respectively, from the provinces of Oristano and Nuoro. On the other hand, 496 patients are currently hospitalized in non-intensive wards (two less than yesterday), while the number of patients in intensive care is 44 (-1). There are 15,785 people in home isolation. The progressive number of positive cases includes 13,380 (+250) recovered patients, plus another 297 clinically recovered. Of the 30,745 positive cases verified in total, 6,882 (+61) were detected in the metropolitan city of Cagliari, 5,023 (+78) in the south of Sardinia, 2,420 (+19) in Oristano, 6,138 (+94) in Nuoro, 10,282 (+76) in Sassari.

Marche, 585 positive in 24 hours from molecular swabs

On the last day 585 positives in the new diagnostic route: 207 in the province of Ancona, 125 in the province of Macerata, 125 in the province of Pesaro-Urbino, 79 in the province of Fermo, 25 in the province of Ascoli Piceno and 24 outside the region). On the other hand, in the Antigen Screening Pathway, 1,293 tests were carried out and 108 positive cases were found (to be subjected to molecular swab): the positive / tested ratio is 8%. The Marche Region Health Service announced that 7,315 swabs have been tested in the last 24 hours: 3,346 in the new diagnostic route (of which 2,053 molecular) and 3,969 in the cured route (with a positive / proven relationship 17.5%). Among the 585 cases there are 67 symptomatic subjects; but also contacts at home (118), close contacts of positive cases (153), contacts in the work environment (34), contacts in life / social environments (29 cases detected), contacts in the healthcare environment (14), contacts with the participation of students of all educational levels (20), medical exams (12) and two returns from abroad. For another 136 cases, epidemiological investigations are still underway.

In Italy, according to the bulletin issued yesterday, there were 11,224 new infections, with 128,740 smears performed; the percentage of positives with respect to the swabs was therefore 8.7%. The victims were 659, while the patients admitted to intensive care were 2,549. The discharged / cured in the 24 hours had been 17,044.
