In Italy there are 11,224 new infections in the 24 hours, 2,639 more than yesterday (ed, data corrected by Civil Protection after the publication of the first table), with 128,740 swabs made (yesterday 68,681); the percentage of positives with respect to buffers is therefore 8.7%, compared to 12.5% yesterday. In the regions
Even today, Veneto is still the region with the highest number of new infections: 2,655. They are followed by Lazio (1,218), Sicilia (995), Emilia-Romagna (894), Lombardy (843) and Piedmont (840). The region with the fewest new infections in the 24 hours is Molise (7), not counting Valle d’Aosta, whose data are probably not significant due to realignment.

Veneto, 2,655 positives and 191 deaths in 24 hours
There are no signs of decreasing the number of infected in Veneto: in the last 24 hours there are 2,655 more, since it brings the total number of positives to Covid since the start of the pandemic to 246,098. The dead are 191 more, since it makes a total of 6,298 dead. The Region announces that this high figure is due to the lack of registration of some deaths in recent days. In the last hours, the number of people hospitalized has been reduced by 9 (2,998) while, on the other hand, 10 more places have been occupied in intensive care (397 the total)
Apulia, 34 deaths and 749 new cases, 7.7% of positive tests
There are 749 new cases of Covid 19 detected in the last 24 hours in Puglia out of 9,668 infection tests, with a percentage of 7.7%, lower than in recent days. There were 34 victims. This is the distribution of the new infections: 287 in the province of Bari, 126 in the province of BAT, 106 in the province of Taranto, 81 in the province of Foggia, 74 in the province of Brindisi, 59 in the province of Lecce , 10 residents outside the region, and 6 cases from the province of unknown residence. Eleven of the victims lived in the province of Bari, as many in Foggiano, 8 in the province of BAT, 4 in the province of Taranto. In Emilia-Romagna, 894 new cases out of 19 thousand swabs, 90 deaths
There are 894 new cases of coronavirus in Emilia-Romagna detected in more than 19 thousand swabs analyzed in the last 24 hours. There are also 90 other victims in the region (some from the last days, counted today), including two in their forties: a 44-year-old man in Bologna and a 41-year-old man in Ravenna. As for hospitalizations, patients in other Covid departments are decreasing (-43 for a total of 2,598) while there are 221 people in intensive care, one more than yesterday. 95% of active coronavirus cases in the region (1,484 less than yesterday, for a total of 56,812) are isolated at home, with no or mild symptoms. The average age of new positives is 46 years. The contagion situation in the provinces sees Piacenza with 104 new cases, Reggio Emilia with 103, Modena with 102.
