The new cases of coronavirus are 1,587 at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 20 and raise the total, since the beginning of the pandemic, to 298,156 (+ 0.53%). In the last 24 hours, 15 deaths have been registered, so that the total number of deaths amounts to 35,707 units (+ 0.04%). At the moment, in Italy, the positives are currently 44,098 (+ 2.17%) of which 2,365 are hospitalized with symptoms (-0.63%). In intensive care there are 222 people (3.25%), while the positives subjected to home isolation are 41,511 (+ 2.32%). Those cured, day after day, are instead 635 (+ 0.29%). This is the table that emerges from the daily data of the Ministry of Health, obtained from 83,428 swabs made, compared to 103,223 on Saturday. At the level of individual regions, Lombardy (211) continues to stand out, ahead of Veneto (173), Campania (171) and Lazio (165). Then Tuscany (147), Sicily (116) and Emilia Romagna (115), Piedmont (98), Liguria (85), Sardinia (72) and Puglia (50). The other regions have less than 50 cases. Only Abruzzo has no new cases of contagion.

Lombardy, another 211 cases and five deaths

With 14,926 smears performed, there are 211 new positive cases in Lombardy for a percentage of smears / infected equal to 1.41%, an increase compared to Saturday (1.11%). There are five deaths for a total of 16,922 deaths in the region since the start of the pandemic. Admissions to intensive care are on the rise (+2.38 in total), while those to other departments are declining (-7, 264). Among the provinces, Milan is always the most affected with 81 cases, of which 46 in the city of Milan, followed by Brescia (30), Monza and Brianza (21) and Bergamo (20).

Veneto, 173 new infections and 4 deaths

Veneto recorded 173 new infections compared to Saturday, with a total of 25,782 and four new deaths bringing the overall figure, since the start of the epidemic, to 2,162. The actual positives are 3,093, 48 more than on Saturday.

Emilia Romagna, 115 cases and two deaths

There are 115 of which 50 asymptomatic identified in Emilia Romagna where the total number since the beginning of the epidemic is 34,340 and where, in the last 24 hours, two people have died. Of the 115 new cases, explains the Region, 74 were already in isolation at the time of the hyssop execution and 51 were identified in the context of already known outbreaks, while there are 16 new infections linked to returns from abroad and five from other regions . The largest number goes to the archives of the provinces of Bologna (21), Reggio Emilia (20), Modena (17), Ravenna (13), Piacenza (11), Parma (10). Piedmont, 98 new cases

There are no deaths, but 98 new infections: this is the panorama of the emergency in Piedmont in the last 24 hours. According to data released by the Regional Crisis Unit, the victims since the beginning of the pandemic continue to be 4,154, while the positive ones amount to 34,339. 49 Piedmontese have recovered compared to Saturday, for a total of 27,499, with another 360 on the mend. Slight increase in hospitalized patients, 7 in intensive care (+1) and 142 not in intensive care (+2). There are 2,177 people in home isolation. The diagnostic swabs processed so far are 668,312 of which 373,272 were negative.
