am 27,573 quick swabs performed yesterday in more than 40 Sicilian cities where the active campaign of the Sicilian Region is planned to search for the Coronavirus. The positive subjects identified were 642 (equal to 2.33 percent).
The initiative continues today and is reserved for the school population (teachers, non-teaching staff, students and their families) who can access the drive in to take the test voluntarily and free of charge.
At each site there are dedicated routes in which the sample is taken which, in case of positivity, is immediately repeated through the molecular swab for the necessary confirmation, as required by current health protocols.
As of this week, there is the possibility of booking through the online platform www.siciliacoronavirus.it. Simply click on the “Covid19 quick buffer” button and complete the registration form choosing the available date of the proposed drive-ins. The platform indicates the time slot that is automatically generated based on the number of reservations already purchased. The registered appointment is then indicated and communicated to the citizen, who can thus reach the chosen drive-in.
