Lombardy is once again in the lead in terms of the number of infections (271), followed by Campania (249) and Puglia (143).

With 20,781 swabs performed, there are 271 new positive cases in Lombardy and the ratio between the number of swabs performed and the positives found is 1.3%, a slight increase compared to 1.19% yesterday. Of the 33 Covid cases attributed to the province of Taranto, 16 are also related to the Polignano outbreak.

Intensive care patients drop to 16 (2 less than yesterday), while 130 are hospitalized in other Covid wards (11 more than yesterday). The highest number of cases is registered in the provinces of Bologna (26), Modena (22) and Reggio Emilia (14).
