Giani: 769 new positives in Tuscany
The new positive cases of Covid registered in the last 24 hours in Tuscany are 769 out of 13,229 molecular swabs and 2,776 rapid tests performed. Eugenio Giani, president of the Region announces it on Facebook, publishing a photo of the nurses at the Santo Stefano di Prato hospital. The data for the new positives therefore returns below the level of one thousand (yesterday they were 1,071), compared to a smaller decrease in the number of buffers (yesterday they were 14,074). “The intensive care nurses in Prato continue to show a photo of them – Giani added – so that those who live in this terrible moment can see a face and a smile behind those angels dressed in white. Thank you guys and girls, I will never tire of saying it! ”.

In the last 24 hours, 4,326 swabs were tested in the Marks: 2,556 in the new diagnostic route, of which 1,092 in the detection with the antigenic route and 1,770 in the cured route. The positives in the 1,464 molecular swabs performed are 418 in the new diagnostic route: according to data from the Marche Region Health Service, 95 are found in the province of Pesaro-Urbino, 93 in the province of Ancona, 91 in the Macerata province, 60 in the Fermo province, 60 in the Ascoli Piceno province and 19 outside the region.
These cases include 54 symptomatic subjects, household contacts (104 cases detected), close contacts of positive cases (111), contacts in the workplace (19), contacts in living / social settings (8), contacts in a care environment (5), contacts with the participation of students of all educational levels (13), screening of care itineraries (7). For another 97 cases, epidemiological investigations are still underway. In the 1,092 tests of the antigen detection pathway, 15 positive cases were found (to be subjected to the molecular swab).
Puglia, 1,884 positive cases and 28 deaths
Today, Saturday, December 5, in Puglia, 1,884 positive cases were registered in 10,119 tests of infection by Covid-19 and 28 deaths. The new positives are 629 in the province of Bari, 444 in the province of Foggia, 255 in the province of Taranto, 230 in the province of Bat, 182 in the Brindisi area, 139 in the Lecce area, 5 cases of residence unknown. There are 10 dead in the Foggia area, 8 in Tarantino, 6 in the Bari area, 3 in the Lecce province and 1 resident outside the region. Since the beginning of the emergency, 832,380 tests have been carried out and 16,704 patients have been recovered. The total number of positive Covid cases in Puglia is 62,552 and currently 44,160 cases are positive.
Umbria: 226 cases, positive rate of 5.88%
There are 226 new cases of Covid positivity verified in Umbria in the last 24 hours, out of the 3,840 swabs analyzed, with a positive rate in line with yesterday’s, of 5.88%. It arises from the official data of the Region updated to December 5. Those cured are 493 (18,310 since the beginning of the pandemic). Seven dead. Current positives have dropped from 6,423 to 6,149 (274 less). Seven new hospitalizations are reported, 392 in total, of which 61 in intensive care (four more than yesterday). The total number of swabs performed since the beginning of the pandemic is 435,623.
