In Italy since the beginning of the pandemic there are 274,644 cases of coronavirus: +1,733 compared to yesterday when they were +1,397 (+1,326 on September 2). The number of deaths amounts to 35,518: +11 compared to yesterday when they were +10 (+6 the day before). The swabs processed in the last 24 hours were 113,085 (for a total of 9,034,743), a new all-time high: compared to 92,790 yesterday (102,959 on September 2). This is what emerges from the data of the Ministry of Health and Civil Protection.
Those cured continue to grow, reaching 209,027 (+537). It also increases the number of positives currently, which is now 30,099 (+1,184). The pressure on hospital structures is also growing with the number of hospitalized patients returning to 1,607 (+102) and the number of patients in intensive care rising to 121 (+1). The positive aspects in home isolation are 28,371: +1,081.
Regions with zero infections
No region can boast zero infections today, as it did yesterday. The highest number of new infections was registered in Lombardy with 337 (yesterday 228), followed by Veneto with 273 (yesterday 115), Lazio and Campania with 171 (yesterday respectively 154 and 193), Emilia-Romagna with 126 (yesterday 118). To highlight the new infections in Puglia: 117.
Lombardy
In Lombardy, the most affected region, the cases of coronavirus since the beginning of the epidemic are 101,119: +337 precisely compared to yesterday, when they were +228 (+242 on September 2). There are 27,324 daily mattresses (bringing the total to 1,671,516), a sharp increase compared to 14,077 yesterday (17,082 on September 2). The total of deaths amounts to 16,876: +6 compared to yesterday, when they were +1 (+2 the day before). The number of healed and discharged continues to increase: 76,574 (+107). The number of hospitalized patients is growing: 244 (+19) while the number of patients in intensive care is decreasing: 26 (-1).
