In Italy, since the start of the pandemic there are 288,761 cases of coronavirus: +1,008 compared to yesterday when they were +1,458 (+1,501 on September 12). The number of deaths amounts to 35,624: +14 compared to yesterday when they were +7 (+6 the day before). The swabs processed in the last 24 hours were 45,309 (for a total of 9,863,427) – a sharp drop compared to 72,143 yesterday (92,706 on September 12). This is what emerges from the data of the Ministry of Health and Civil Protection.
Those cured continue to grow, reaching 213,950 (+316). Also increasing the number of positives currently, which are now 39,187 (+678). Pressure on hospitals is also growing with the number of hospitalized patients returning to 2,122 (+80) and that of intensive care patients rising to 197 (+10). Regions with zero infections
Today, Basilicata is the region that can now boast zero new infections, one for Abruzzo, followed by the other regions. The highest number of new infections was registered in Lazio with 181 cases (yesterday 143), followed by Emilia-Romagna with 127 (yesterday 143) and Lombardy with 125 (yesterday 265).

In Lombardy, the most affected region, the coronavirus cases since the beginning of the epidemic are 103,464: +125 precisely compared to yesterday, when there were 265. There are 7,931 daily swabs (bringing the total to 1,830,924), in per down from 12,844 yesterday (16,493 on September 12). The total of deceased amounts to 16,901: +2 compared to yesterday, when they were +2 (+3 the day before). The number of healed and discharged continues to increase: 77,715 (+64). The province of Milan is the one that registers the highest number of new cases: 44 (yesterday 88) of which 21 (yesterday 47) in the capital. They are followed by the provinces of Brescia with 15 (yesterday 27) and Bergamo with 13 (yesterday 18). There are no new infections in Pavia, Lodi, Mantua, Sondrio.
