In Italy, on November 20, another 37,242 cases of coronavirus were registered, with 238,077 swabs and 699 victims. In Lombardy, 9,221 cases were detected, 4,226 in Campania and 3,861 in Piedmont. The infected currently number 777,176 (+15,505) with 33,957 hospitalized with symptoms (+347) and 3,748 in intensive care (+36). 739,471 patients are in home isolation while 21,035 new people recovered or were discharged. “There is a stabilization in the number of positive cases but the deaths are always many and this is not a reassuring figure.” This was what Gianni Rezza said at the press conference of the Ministry of Health
In FVG another 1,018 new infections
Today in Friuli Venezia Giulia, 1,018 new infections have been detected (13.53 percent of the 7,522 swabs made) and 28 deaths from Covid-19. This was announced by the Deputy Governor responsible for Health, Riccardo Riccardi. People who have tested positive for the virus in the region since the beginning of the pandemic amounted to a total of 22,940, of which: 5,949 in Trieste, 9,475 in Udine, 4,500 in Pordenone and 2,719 in Gorizia, in addition to 297 people from outside the region.

The current cases of infection are 12,380. The number of patients treated in intensive care has increased to 54 and 505 hospitalized in other wards. The total of deaths amounted to 608, with the following territorial division: 260 in Trieste, 183 in Udine, 144 in Pordenone and 21 in Gorizia. The totally cured are 9,952, the clinically cured 205 and the isolated 11,616.
In Basilicata infections are decreasing, three deaths
In Basilicata today there are three deaths and a decrease in coronavirus infections. According to what was announced by the regional working group, the number of Lucanian victims rose to 104. Yesterday 2,087 swabs were analyzed: 232 were positive, 218 of these refer to inhabitants of the region (now the positives are currently 4,772). The day before, on the other hand, out of 2,147 tests, the positives had been 290. The number of hospitalized patients increased (181 compared to 175 in the previous update), while the number of intensive care decreased from 28 to 27. Yesterday there were also registered 35 cures (974 in total). Since the start of the health emergency, 136,301 swabs have been analyzed in Basilicata, of which 129,298 were negative.

Yesterday 36,176 new positives for coronavirus were registered, which brings the total since the start of the pandemic to 1,308,528 (+ 2.84%). Deaths, in the 24 hours prior to the survey, were 653 for a total of 47,870 units from February to this part (+ 1.38%).
