Veneto records a jump of 107 deaths linked to Covid in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of victims to 3,818. THE there are 2,535 new infections, a reduced number if compared with those of the last weeks, for a total of 148,127 infected since the beginning of the epidemic. Currently the positive subjects are 80,997 (+332). A strongly negative figure is that of hospitalizations in the medical area, 2,706, 98 more than yesterday, while the intensive care unit is decreasing, with 330 occupied places (-9)
Tuscany
In Tuscany am 658 positives more than yesterday, raising the total since the beginning of the epidemic to 104,099 units. New cases are 0.6% more than the total of the previous day. The average age of cases today is approximately 52 years. Those cured grew by 4.2% and reached 61,225 (58.8% of all cases). The swabs made reached 1,578,009, 9,801 more than yesterday, of which 6.7% positive. The victims are instead 32. Today’s positives are 40,201, -4.3% compared to yesterday. There are 1,830 hospitalized (32 less than yesterday), of which 267 in intensive care (11 less).
Friuli Venezia Giulia
Today in Friuli Venezia Giulia have been detected 736 new infections (10.71 percent of the 6,870 swabs performed) and 25 deaths from Covid-19. People who have tested positive for the virus in the region since the beginning of the pandemic totaled 31,386. The current cases of infection are 14,847. The number of patients treated in intensive care has increased to 62 and to 637 hospitalized in other departments. The total of deaths amounted to 863. The totally cured are 15,676, the clinically recovered 379 and the isolated 13,769.
Apulia
In Puglia, 9,820 tests were recorded for Covid-19 infection 1,659 positive cases (of which 577 in the province of Bari). They were also registered 34 deaths. Since the beginning of the emergency, 794,335 tests have been performed and 14,696 are cured patients while 39,766 are currently positive cases
The other regions
At Market 337 new cases were identified, 27.8% compared to the 1,213 swabs processed. The total number of positive cases identified throughout the region from the beginning amounts to 30,143. In Abruzzo there are 396 new cases (between 4 months and 97 years) and 13 deaths. In Basilicata instead, 163 are recently infected. In Sardinia new cases are 420, while deaths are 5.
