Covid shelters continue to fall in Piedmont. Today, Sunday, December 6, the Crisis Unit of the Piedmont Region announced that in the last 24 hours in intensive care, 7 places have been released while ordinary hospitalizations are 37 less than yesterday. Regarding infections, there are 1,269 (508 asymptomatic, equal to 40%) new cases of people who tested positive for COVID-19: 13.5%, which is of the 9,386 swabs performed. Unfortunately, this figure is increasing compared to yesterday, in which the percentage was 9.6%.
Almost 9,400 more tampons than yesterday
The cases are divided as follows: 295 evaluations, 625 case contacts, 349 with ongoing investigation; by area: 205 RSA / Social Welfare Structures, 55 schools, 1,009 general population. The total of positive cases amounts to 177,788, divided as follows by province: 15,487 Alessandria, 8372 Asti, 6152 Biella, 24,553 Cuneo, 13,722 Novara, 94,349 Turin, 6708 Vercelli, 5888 Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, in addition to 962 residents outside of the region but in charge of the Piedmontese health structures. The remaining 1,595 are under development and territorial allocation. The diagnostic swabs processed so far are 1,665,145 (+ 9,386 compared to yesterday), of which 822,823 were negative.
Deceased
There are 55 deaths of people positive to the covid-19 test (yesterday they were 62, ed) reported today by the Crisis Unit of the Piedmont Region, of which 4 occurred today (remember that the cumulative update data reported daily also includes deaths occurred in the previous days and only later were they determined as covid deaths). Therefore, the total is now 6,623 deaths who tested positive for the virus, divided as follows by province: 985 Alessandria, 398 Asti, 292 Biella, 710 Cuneo, 576 Novara, 3,077 Turin, 315 Vercelli, 204 Verbano-Cusio -Ossola, in addition to 66 residents outside the region, but died in Piedmont.
The cured keep increasing
There are 105,127 cured patients (+1,939 compared to yesterday) divided as follows by provinces: 8185 Alessandria, 5558 Asti, 3295 Biella, 12,721 Cuneo, 7299 Novara, 59,575 Turin, 4075 Vercelli, 3342 Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, in addition to 531 extraregione and 546 under definition.
