The growth of infected coronaviruses in Sicily continues: 170 in the last 24 hours, compared to 6,645 swabs performed. Twenty-nine of the new cases are naval soldiers landed in Syracuse from the Margottini ship. Those cured are also increasing, 90 since yesterday.
The total number of positive people currently in Sicily reaches 2,866, with one death (in the province of Palermo), bringing the total number of victims to 311. 7000 cases exceeded since the beginning of the epidemic (7118). Hospitalizations are increasing: 301 in ordinary regimen, 19 in intensive care. 2546 people in home isolation.
In Palermo there are 74 new positives, 33 in Syracuse (29 of them are sailors from the Margottini ship), 17 each in Catania,
Caltanissetta and Trapani, 7 cases registered in Messina, 4 new positives in Agrigento and one in Enna.
New coronavirus infections in Italy are on the rise: 1,851 new cases today, up from 1,648 yesterday, but with many more swabs, 105,564 versus 90,185 processed yesterday. The total number of positive cases amounts to 314,861. Deaths decreased, 19 today (24 yesterday), for a total of 35,894. This is what emerges from the daily bulletin of the Ministry of Health.
The most cured are 1,198 (yesterday 1,316) and now they are 227,704. The region with the most cases today is Campania (+287), followed by Lazio (+210) and Lombardy (+201), the same situation as yesterday. There is no region with zero infections, the ones that are better are Valle d’Aosta and Molise with six new cases.
The positives currently also increased (+633 compared to 307 yesterday) for a total of 51,263. Ordinary hospitalizations decreased by one unit: 3,047, compared to +71 yesterday, while intensive care units increased by 9 units (yesterday 7), and there are 280. Finally, in home isolation there are 47,936 people (625 more than yesterday )
