In the last 24 hours, 475 new cases of coronavirus positivity have been registered in Sicily with two deaths. These are the figures released by the Ministry of Health. The number of people admitted to intensive care is increasing, although it remains one of the most important indicators to follow: today there are 61 (+3 compared to yesterday). In total, 540 people have needed hospitalization (yesterday there were 529). With the two deaths in the last 24 hours, the Sicilian death toll rises to 362. The number of people currently positive in Sicily is now 6281, of which 5741 are almost asymptomatic and are in home isolation. The good news is that all 126 healed in the last 24 hours. Since the beginning of the pandemic in Sicily, 11,744 cases have been registered. The number of swabs was not particularly high: 5,739. The percentage of positive swabs over those made, however, increases: we are now at 8.2%.
In Italy there have been 10,975 cases with 47 deaths.
