2,204 tests performed. Hospitalizations in intensive and ordinary care have decreased slightly
SASSARI. A total of 41,650 positive Covid-19 cases have been detected in Sardinia since the beginning of the emergency. In the latest update of the Regional Crisis Unit, 73 new cases were detected. In total, 791,879 swabs were performed, for an overall increase of 2,204 tests compared to the previous figure. The relationship between positive cases and swabs carried out marks a positive rate of 3.3% for the Island.
There were 4 deaths (1,183 in total). On the other hand, 191 patients are currently hospitalized in non-intensive wards (-1), while 24 (-1) patients are in intensive care. There are 12,431 people in home isolation. Those cured are a total of 27,636 (+109), while the people declared clinically cured on the island are currently 185.
In the territory, of the 41,650 positive cases verified in total, 9,982 (+31) were detected in the metropolitan city of Cagliari, 6,658 (+20) in southern Sardinia, 3,497 (+1) in Oristano, 8,245 (+13) ) in Nuoro, 13,268 (+8) in Sassari.
