SASSARI. A total of 30,145 positive Covid-19 cases have been detected in Sardinia since the start of the emergency. In the latest update of the Regional Crisis Unit, 96 new cases were detected. There are also 6 deaths (710 in total), five men and one woman between 65 and 83 years old. The victims: four residents of the southern province of Sardinia and two, respectively, from the province of Oristano and the metropolitan city of Cagliari. In total, 470,328 swabs were performed with an increase of 1,160 tests. On the other hand, currently 483 patients are hospitalized in non-intensive wards (+5 compared to yesterday’s figure), while the number of patients in intensive care is 43 (unchanged). There are 15,889 people in home isolation. The progressive number of positive cases includes 12,706 (+89) recovered patients, plus another 314 clinically recovered. In the territory, of the 30,145 positive cases verified in total, 6,743 (+27) were detected in the metropolitan city of Cagliari, 4,879 (+10) in southern Sardinia, 2,388 in Oristano, 6,013 (+15) in Nuoro, 10,122 (+44) in Sassari.
