There are 36 infections in the north of Sardinia
SASSARI. A total of 2,615 positive Covid-19 cases have been detected in Sardinia since the beginning of the emergency. In the latest update of the Regional Crisis Unit, 51 new cases were registered, 46 from screening activities and 5 from suspected diagnosis. The number of victims remains unchanged in the bulletin, 136 in total.
In total, 149,370 swabs were performed, an increase of 1,352 tests compared to the last update. On the other hand, 48 patients are hospitalized (+2 compared to yesterday’s figure), while the number of patients (10) currently in intensive care remains unchanged. There are 1,135 people in home isolation. The progressive number of positive cases includes 1,280 recovered patients, plus another 6 clinically recovered. In the territory, of the 2,615 positive cases verified in total, 447 (+2) were detected in the metropolitan city of Cagliari, 258 (+6) in the south of Sardinia, 120 (+1) in Oristano, 205 (+6 ) in Nuoro, 1,585 (+36) in Sassari.
