CAGLIARI. In the latest update of the Regional Crisis Unit, 365 new cases were detected. There are also 4 deaths (751 in total): two men and a woman from the metropolitan city of Cagliari, aged 83, 88 and 98, respectively, and a 72-year-old man residing in the province of Southern Sardinia. A total of 31,478 positive Covid-19 cases have been detected in Sardinia since the beginning of the emergency.
A total of 485,824 swabs were performed with an increase of 3,304 tests. On the other hand, 479 patients are currently hospitalized in non-intensive wards (seven less than yesterday), while the number of patients in intensive care is 42 (-4). There are 16,158 people in home isolation. The progressive number of positive cases includes 13,748 (+138) recovered patients, plus another 300 clinically recovered.
In the territory, of the 31,478 positive cases verified in total, 7,060 (+86) were detected in the metropolitan city of Cagliari, 5,144 (+37) in the south of Sardinia, 2,542 (+60) in Oristano, 6,280 (+80) ) in Nuoro, 10,452 (+102) in Sassari.
