CAGLIARI. In the latest update of the Regional Crisis Unit, 253 new cases were detected. There are also 6 deaths (549 in total). The victims: three men and one woman residing in the province of South Sardinia, aged 74, 85, 86 and 94 years old respectively, and a man and a woman aged 79 and 92 years from the province of Sassari. Therefore, a total of 25,031 cases of Covid-19 positivity have been detected in Sardinia since the beginning of the emergency.
A total of 405,424 swabs were performed with an increase of 2,043 tests. On the other hand, 621 patients are currently hospitalized in non-intensive wards (+5 compared to yesterday’s figure), while the number of patients in intensive care is 61 (-1). There are 14,333 people in home isolation. The progressive number of positive cases includes 9,353 (+393) recovered patients, plus another 114 clinically recovered.
In the territory, of a total of 25,031 confirmed positive cases, 5,385 (+32) were detected in the metropolitan city of Cagliari, 3,971 (+45) in the south of Sardinia, 1,991 (+10) in Oristano, 4,694 (+78) ) in Nuoro, 8,990 (+88) in Sassari.
