CAGLIARI. In the last update of the Regional Crisis Unit, 176 new cases were detected. A total of 913,093 swabs were performed, for an overall increase of 16,280 tests compared to the previous figure. The ratio of positive cases to swabs performed marks a positive rate of 1% for the island. There were four new deaths (1,209 total). Therefore, the total number of positive Covid-19 cases verified in Sardinia since the beginning of the emergency amounts to 43,257.
On the other hand, 178 patients are currently hospitalized in non-intensive wards (+3), while 21 (-1) patients are in intensive care. There are 12,817 people in home isolation. There are a total of 28,847 (+54) cured, while those declared clinically cured on the island are currently 185. In the territory, of the 43,257 positive cases verified in total, 10,726 (+92) have been detected in the Metropolitan City from Cagliari, 6,842 (+ 6) in southern Sardinia, 3,571 (+17) in Oristano, 8,493 (+20) in Nuoro, 13,625 (+41) in Sassari.
