Coronavirus in Lazio, Zingaretti order: mini-confinement for 14 days in the province of Latina. Limits to bars, restaurants, hospitals and offices

Mini lock in the province of Latin for 14 days. After that here the new cases of coronavirus have increased in 155 percent in just three days, the president of the Lazio Region Nicola Zingaretti signed the ordinance in force since midnight that provides for the capacity for 20 people for religious festivals and ceremonies and the ban on gathering in front of schools, public places and offices. As for bars, clubs and restaurants, at the table where they can sit maximum 4 people, while the closing is strictly anticipated at midnight. As of tomorrow, all companies must exhibit a sign that shows the maximum number of people admitted at the same time, in relation to size of locals and in compliance with social distancing.

Stricter rules also for gyms and the dance schools, where exhibitors must actively monitor social distancing and set a limit on access to all venues, including dressing rooms. The lock is also activated for hospitals: During the next two weeks, citizens residing in the province of Latina they will not be able to visit friends or relatives admitted to the hospitals, except in exceptional cases authorized in writing directly by the health manager of the hospitalization center. The last measure foreseen by the ordinance refers to the working: companies in the area are urged to “promote agile work”, as far as possible, with the aim of minimizing displacements.

“The president’s ordinance is a necessary measure to contain the numbers of the virus that in the last week have registered a considerable increase in relation to the resident population ”, declared the Councilor for Health Alessio D’Amato. “We trust one collaborative spirit by all concerned and in the activation of appropriate controls by the relevant institutions. It is essential, at this stage, to respect these rules that do not want to be punitive in the least, but prevention to avoid new and more onerous limitations throughout the province. “In the last 24 hours, the cases registered in the Region are 359 out of more than 13 thousand swabs, 6 victims. The relationship between positive and proven is al 2.7%. In Latina ASL alone, D’Amato said, there are 29 new infections, two of which have returned from Lombardy. However, the most serious situations affect the municipalities of Terracina, on the south coast of the capital, and that of Aprilia, less than 50 kilometers from Rome.
