Like every Monday, the number of new infections in Italy is decreasing: they are 2,257 today against 2,578 yesterday, but with 60,241 swabs, more than 32 thousand less than yesterday. The total number of cases amounts to 327,586. There is also a slight decrease in deaths, today 16 (yesterday they were 18), for a total that exceeds 36 thousand, reaching 36,002. There is a strong increase in hospitalizations: 200 more in the ordinary regime (yesterday +82), the total of which amounts to 3,487, while in intensive care there are 20 more (yesterday +6), and there are 323 in total.
Our compatriots are 55,093 in home isolation, yesterday they were 53,839. This is what emerges from the daily bulletin of the Ministry of Health.

Two dead in Tuscany in the last 24 hours: there are two men, one in the province of Florence, the other in the province of Pistoia. The total deaths of Covid patients rises to 1,168 since the start of the pandemic. Furthermore, in the last 24 hours, the Tuscany Region has given rise to another 185 new positive cases with an average age of 41 years, bringing the total to 15,764 cases (+ 1.2%). Ten new cases, all asymptomatic, are of elderly people in an RSA in Greve in Chianti (Florence). The swabs performed reached 780,067, 5,314 more than yesterday. Currently positive are 4,065 today (+ 2.6% over yesterday): there are 144 hospitalized (+19 units, + 15.2%) of which 32 in intensive care (+6 units since yesterday, +23.1%) while that 3,921 people are isolated at home with mild symptoms that do not require hospital treatment or without symptoms (+84 equal to plus 2.2%). ABRUZZO Thirty infections registered today in Abruzzo and results of the 1,244 tests carried out (209,580 of the total of those carried out so far). As stated in the bulletin released by the regional health department, these are people between 10 and 87 years old who raise the total number of coronavirus cases in the area, since the beginning of the emergency, to 4,607. There are 482 deaths, the last of which is recorded in the last 24 hours and refers to a 97-year-old resident of the province of Pescara. L’Aquila is, today, the province most affected: 10 registered cases bring the total, since the beginning of the pandemic, to 671. The number of patients admitted to intensive care also rises: there are 7, one more than yesterday. Hospital admissions rise to 72 (+2), while 938 people are currently in home isolation (+19 compared to yesterday). Currently, the positives in Abruzzo are 1,017 (+24 compared to yesterday).
And while you wait for the new Dpcm, there are several municipalities in Abruzzo that require the use of masks outdoors or near schools. In Sulmona (L’Aquila), for example, the obligation to wear protective equipment outdoors was renewed throughout the municipality. There are 19 new positives tested in Umbria in the last day, however, 2695 in total, as a result of the analysis of 441 swabs, a much smaller number than usual. This is what the Region’s website reports. Meanwhile, the growth of hospitalized patients does not stop, going from 46 to 47, five of which in intensive care (yesterday there were four). On the other hand, there are 86 deceased and another eight recovered, 1,898, the positives currently going from 700 to 711.

There are 22 positives detected in Marche in the last 24 hours in the new diagnostic route: seven in the province of Fermo, six in the province of Ascoli Piceno, four in the province of Ancona, three in the province of Macerata, one in the province of Pesaro Urbino and one outside region. SICILY 128 new positives were registered in Sicily in the last 24 hours. Thus, the current positives amount to 3,358 and the number of hospitalized patients rises to 361. Of these 28 are in intensive care, 2,969 are patients in home isolation. However, the swabs performed were only 2,656. Even today there are new victims, in this case there are two, which brings the total to 321. The victims are a 65-year-old woman and a 71-year-old man, both dead in Palermo. Those cured in the last hours are 15. On the front of the territorial distribution Palermo reports 63 new positives, while Catania shows 31 cases, 15 are new positives in Ragusa, 10 in Messina, 5 cases in Caltanissetta, 3 in Trapani 1 in Syracuse.
Palazzo delle Aquile, seat of the municipality, is closed in Palermo. On the other hand, 116 patients are currently hospitalized in non-intensive wards (+2 compared to yesterday’s figure), while 19 (-1) patients are in intensive care.
