In total they are 3,067,486 infections in Italy since the start of the pandemic, according to the latest bulletin from the Ministry of Health and Civil Protection. The deceased in the last 24 hours, on the other hand, are 207 against 307 yesterday and 297 of the previous day for a total of 99,785 dead. Today’s current positives are 472,862 against 465,812 from yesterday (+7,050) while the regions with the highest increase in daily cases are Lombardy (+4,397), Emilia Romagna (+3,056) and Campania (+2,560).

The situation in Italian hospitals

Today March 7 the number of hospitalized in Italy amounts to 21,144 (Yesterday 20,701, +443) while in intensive care are reported 2,605 patients (yesterday 2,571, +34). Daily tickets to resuscitation are 161 against 214 from yesterday. Discharges and healed increased by 13,467 unit (today 2,494,839, Yesterday 2,481,372), they are still isolated 449,113 people (yesterday 442,540).

Swabs and positivity rate

The last day they took place +271,336 tampons against +355,024 yesterday for a total of 42,342,845 swabs made since the beginning of the pandemic, of which 36,013,136 molecular e 6,329,709 antigenic. The people tested around to date are 20,375,964. The positivity rate of the last 24 hours, therefore the number of new infections compared to tampons manufactured since yesterday, has increased 7.6 percent (yesterday was 6.6 percent, so one more point).
