Since you returned to class, which took place on Monday, September 14, how many cases of coronavirus have occurred in schools? Currently there are no official data, so only estimates can be made.

Based on the survey posted on Twitter by Lorenzo ruffino, Economics student in Turin and collaborator of Political Pagella and Youtrend, to date there are around 300 schools with at least one case.

According to Ruffino, who did the work with the scholar Vittorio Nicoletta, “After an average of 20 cases per day during the first three days, it went to more than 55 in the next three days. And yesterday, despite the fact that many schools acted as plazas, we found about 60 ”. Still: “In 76% of the cases students participate and in 13% teachers. The remaining cases are from other school personnel or are sometimes unknown. Primary school has 27% of cases, secondary 25%, childhood 23% and secondary 16%. It is not always clear which school is involved ”.
