The coronavirus numbers in Sicily are getting higher more and more beds are occupied in hospitals starting to be put under pressure.

In the plan presented to the Commission 604 ordinary hospitalization places are foreseen to help the sick
Covid and 162 intensive care places. To these are added the places of sub-intensive care that in 48 hours can be transformed into intensive care.

54 of 60 Infectivology posts are occupied, 12 of 14 in subintensive care and 5 of 8 in resuscitation. At the Civico di Palermo 10 places of intensive care are ready. A pavilion with 23 places is destined for Covid patients. There are also 13 more locations in another pavilion and 30 locations in another area.
