And if at the national level the gaze goes over all the areas in which the virus could spread, locally, in Liguria, the President of the Region, Giovanni Toti, and the Mayor of Genoa, Marco Bucci, reinforce the focus on the Ligurian capital, where the cases increase exponentially, considering ad hoc measures for certain areas of Genoa.

Coronavirus: duration of quarantine, isolation and testing

Among the other innovations that could be introduced in the new ministerial decree that arrives Monday, some concern the duration of the quarantine and the isolation.

The latest rumors in fact speak of the possibility of shortening the duration of the quarantine from 14 to 10 days: “On Monday we will be presented with the first draft of the dpcm that will have to come into force on Thursday and will include new restrictions to maintain the disease under control and end of other European states that have seen the pandemic grow – Toti confirmed – The new dpcm could finally contain the possibility of using rapid antigenic swab as a detection and diagnostic element, which means that the molecular swab would no longer be necessary with longer times and we could isolate and track many more people.
