Municipalities may establish entry shifts and request reservations through the application or online platform.
Spaced even in water
To avoid meetings, you cannot park on the coast. Public beaches should also be disinfected. The CTS recommends entrusting beach management to organizations or entities that can use appropriately trained personnel, such as volunteers and third sector associations. Italy has a quarter of Europe’s bathing waters and registers more than 50,000 state-owned maritime concessions, of which 11,000 are for beach resorts. In some municipalities, such as Forte dei Marmi, the beaches occupied by beach concessions are even 90%. The organizational measures that the CTS indicates for the establishments and equipped beaches provide for maximum reception in order to avoid overcrowding. The golden rule is always that: maintain social distance, both on the beach and in the water. And therefore, preferably compulsory reservation, access to quotas also for time slots, user registration also to retrospectively trace any contact after contagions. Clients will come and go with the mask on their faces, the restrooms will be cleaned several times a day, and hand hygiene dispensers will be installed. And the lifeguard’s job will also change, starting with the obligation to touch umbrellas and loungers with nitrile gloves. New rules also for rescuers at sea, who will perform chest compressions only, without ventilation.
