CROTONE – There are four new covid cases found by Crotone ASP on August 31. The four positives come: one from Cara, one is a contact from a positive (new family outbreak) and two non-residents of the province who have returned to Calabria from Sardinia. The data comes from the Crotone ASP daily epidemiological bulletin. There are currently 42 cases of patients with active covid of which 28 are migrants in isolation to Cara di Isola Capo Rizzuto (all asymptomatic), 3 non-residents (of which 2 symptomatic) and eleven citizens of Crotone. Specifically, there are 4 active cases in Crotone (one more than in recent days), four in Strongoli, one in Pallagorio and two in San Mauro Marchesato (including a girl). 152 swabs were performed on the Crotoner ASP on August 31.
Regionally, the number of infected people continues to increase. On Monday they were 14 more than on Sunday with a general total that has reached 1,491 cases since the start of the pandemic: 111 are positive people from abroad.
