Viterbo – We received and published – 4 confirmed cases of COVID-19 positivity were reported by the Belcolle Molecular Genetics section to the Coronavirus Operational Team of the Viterbo ASL at 11 am.
Another case was investigated by an additional hospital in Asl.
The latest positivity reports are linked to swabs made to residents or residents of the following municipalities: 1 in Bagnoregio, 1 in Villa San Giovanni in Tuscia, 1 in Vitorchiano, 1 in Vetralla, 1 in Orte.
Of the current cases, 3 are linked to known cases, 2 are linked to a swab performed for the presence of symptoms. They all spend their convalescence in their own homes.
The Coronavirus operational team has activated prevention and protection measures, in order to contain the spread of the virus, strengthening the chain of close contacts, with the valuable collaboration of municipal administrations.
In total, at 11 this morning, cases of positivity to COVID-19, resident or domiciled in Tuscia, amounted to 587 of which 35 are cases verified in non-ASL structures.
Today there have been no new cases of recovery from COVID-19.
Right now, of the people reported positive for Coronavirus: 3 are hospitalized in the infectious disease department, 2 are hospitalized in an additional ASL health center, 87 are convalescing at home. The number of negative people remains at 470, 25 are the deceased, to which must be added the patient resident in Tuscia and who died in a hospital outside the province.
Since the beginning of the COVID emergency, 25,248 swabs have been made in the province of Viterbo, 290 in the last 24 hours. To date, 283 citizens are in fiduciary home isolation, while 5,063 have completed the isolation period.
The seroprevalence investigation initiated by the Lazio region continues in Tuscia. As of yesterday, the Belcolle and Civita Castellana analysis laboratories reported 8813 serological tests. Of these, 133 gave a positive result, with a prevalence rate of 1.50%.
