Since the start of the coronavirus epidemic, 141,010 positive cases have been registered in Emilia-Romagna, 1,211 more than yesterday, out of a total of 17,459 swabs performed in the last 24 hours. The percentage of new positives on the number of tampons made falls to 6.9%, from 8.2% yesterday.

Another 61 deaths in the region
Unfortunately, 61 new deaths were registered: 4 in the province of Piacenza (two men aged 89 and 75 and two women aged 85 and 89); 2 in Parma (two women aged 78 and 85); 5 in Reggio Emilia (all men 62.83.85.90.70 years); 9 in the of Modena (5 men of 72.77.60.69.92 years and 4 women of 97.62.92.66 years); in the province of Bologna there are 13 (of which 5 men of 86,78,63,86,96 years and 8 women of 82,94,79,94,82,94,83). In the last 24 hours, 17,459 tampons, for a total of 2,294,410. There are also 1,640 serological tests and 2,030 quick swabs performed since yesterday.
As for the total of people cured, they are 1,811 more than yesterday and reach 70,508.
The number of active cases continues to decrease, that is, the actual patients to date are 64,055 (-661 compared to yesterday). Of these, people in isolation at home, or those with mild symptoms that do not require hospital treatment or are asymptomatic, are 61,012 (-630), 95.2% of the total active cases.
In total, 6,447 deaths in the region since the beginning of the epidemic.
Patients admitted to intensive care 231 (+2 compared to yesterday), 2,812 in the other Covid departments (-33).
In the area, patients admitted to intensive care are distributed as follows: 16 in Piacenza (+3 compared to yesterday), 17 in Parma (-1), 26 in Reggio Emilia (-1), 51 in Modena (-2), 56 in Bologna (+5), 8 in Imola (number unchanged compared to yesterday), 18 in Ferrara (unchanged), 14 in Ravenna (unchanged), 4 in Forlì (-1), 2 in Cesena (unchanged) and 19 in Rimini (-1).
