New cases and deaths on the rise in Calabria. To date, 350,706 subjects have been tested for a total of 359,952 swabs performed (further tests can be performed on the same subject). The people who tested positive for Coronavirus are 16,150 (+426 compared to yesterday), the negative 334,556. There are 13 new deaths in the region.
These are the daily data related to the Covid-19 epidemic reported by the Department of Health Protection.
Territorially, since the beginning of the epidemic, positive cases are distributed as follows:
– Cosenza: ACTIVE CASES 3,923 (125 in the Cosenza hospital ward; 13 in the Rossano unit and 9 in the Cetraro hospital unit; 17 in intensive care, 3,759 in home isolation); CASES CLOSED 886 (778 recovered, 108 deceased).
– Catanzaro: ACTIVE CASES 1,655 (67 in ward; 16 in intensive care; 1,572 in home isolation); CASES CLOSED 721 (659 recovered, 62 deceased).
– Crotone: ACTIVE CASES 918 (39 in room; 879 in home isolation); CASES CLOSED 507 (498 recovered, 9 deceased).
– Vibo Valentia: ACTIVE CASES 697 (16 hospitalized, 681 in home isolation); CASES CLOSED 244 (226 recovered, 18 deceased).
– Reggio Calabria: ACTIVE CASES 3,511 (117 in ward; 24 hospital unit in Gioia Tauro; 9 in intensive care; 3,361 in home isolation); CASES CLOSED 2,603 (2,529 recovered, 74 deaths).
– Another foreign region or state: ACTIVE CASES 313 (313 in home isolation); CASES CLOSED 172 (171 recovered, 17 deceased). Also included is the person who died in the Cosenza intensive care unit who lived outside the region.
The patient discharged from Cosenza was included among those cured in the environment outside the region; the patient who died in Cosenza was included among those who died in the environment outside the region. Today’s confirmed cases are divided as follows: Cosenza 241, Catanzaro 49, Crotone 59, Vibo Valentia 6, Reggio Calabria 71.
Another foreign region or state 0. Since the last survey, a total of 209 people registered on the Calabria Region portal to communicate their presence in the regional territory. The count also includes the two patients from Bergamo transferred to Catanzaro, while the numbers of the infection received after the communication of the data to Civil Protection are not included.
