The Azienda Zero update at 5:00 p.m. on December 28 causes the number of people admitted to Veneto hospitals to rise once again, among the highest figures of this second wave, while another 1,353 Sars swabs were detected -CoV positives -2 and 80 deaths from 8 in the morning of the same day.
In the region, therefore, the total number of Covid-19 cases since the start of the health emergency is 244,787, of which 90,695 are currently positive and 147,905 are virological (or cured) negative, while the deceased affected by the virus, between hospitals and there are 6187. Taking into account, the latter, which in the previous update had stopped at 6187.
In the province of Verona, 306 new cases are registered for a total of 47,719, of which: 19,943 are still affected by the coronavirus, 26,191 negative and 1,585 deaths, 24 more than the 8 a.m. bulletin.
Regarding the Veneto hospitals, they now see 3,052 (+45) hospitalized in the different non-critical areas, of which 2,747 are still positive and 402 (+15) in intensive care, of which 29 are now negative.
Even considering only the Scaliger structures, the figures are still worrying, with 612 (+4) positive patients in the non-critical area and 96 (+9) in intensive care. Here are the numbers of the individual hospitals: 144 in Borgo Roma (of which 10 in intensive care), 132 in Borgo Trento (of which 32 in intensive care), 95 in Legnago (of which 5 in intensive care), 76 in San Bonifacio (of which 10 in intensive care), 117 in Villafranca di Verona (of which 20 in intensive care), 23 in Marzana, 3 in Bovolone, 78 in Negrar (of which 11 in intensive care) and 40 in Peschiera del Garda (of which 8 in intensive care).
