Coronavirus, cases increase (+90) in Sicily: 35 in the Etna province

The number of new cases discovered in Sicily continues to grow: in the last 24 hours there have been 90 new cases compared to 5,809 swabs made. No cases were recorded among migrants staying in hotspots in Sicily, while in the Etna province there are 35 new infections. There are 18 recovered and 3 new dead. In total, 155 people remain hospitalized, of which 16 are in intensive care. Currently, 1,988 people are infected and 1,817, most of them asymptomatic, are in home isolation. To date, 412,972 swabs have been done on the island in 308,515 people. This is the bulletin released by the Ministry of Health today, September 16, 2020.
