TURIN. The cases of people testing positive for Covid-19 in Piedmont rise to 62,445 (+ 2,827 compared to yesterday). Of the new cases, 1,276 (45%) are asymptomatic. The cases are broken down as follows: 189 are in RSA / Structures of Social Welfare, 374 have arisen in the school environment, 2264 in the general population.
The general subdivision at the provincial level becomes: 6125 Alessandria, 3130 Asti, 2038 Biella, 7664 Cuneo, 5246 Novara, 32921 Turin, 2422 Vercelli, 1814 Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, in addition to 449 residents outside the region, but in charge Piedmontese health facilities. The remaining 636 cases are pending and territorial assignment.
Admissions increase
There are 135 hospitalized in intensive care (+14 compared to yesterday). Non-intensive care patients are 2,237 (+221 compared to yesterday). There are 23,415 people in home isolation
The diagnostic swabs processed so far are 984,720 (+16,673 compared to yesterday), of which 536,779 were negative.
Dead: +19
There are 19 deaths of Covid-19 test positive individuals reported by the Piedmont Region Crisis Unit, of which 4 occurred today (note that the updated cumulative data reported daily also includes deaths that occurred in the previous days and were only later determined as Covid deaths).
The total now stands at 4,305 deaths who tested positive for the virus, divided as follows by province: 703 Alessandria, 261 Asti, 224 Biella, 414 Cuneo, 406 Novara, 1891 Turin, 231 Vercelli, 133 Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, in addition to 42 residents outside the region, but died in Piedmont.
The healed
Today, the Crisis Unit of the Piedmont Region announced that the patients cured are a total of 32,353 as follows at the provincial level: Alessandria 3763, Asti 1742, Biella 1030, Cuneo 3335, Novara 3021, Turin 16,623, Vercelli 1515, Vco 1103, extraregion 218.
